The Inspiration

          My name is unimportant-very common but beautiful. My friends call me 'Lans' or 'Lani.' though it's not my real name. I really love it. I am a Sophomore at Snow College. I am nineteen years old and about to graduate in less than a month. I love learning and reading and exploring the world. I am a huge fan of volleyball, basketball, softball, soccer, and football-all of which I play as often as I can. I play the piano and believe that there is music and meaning in every part of life. I love love love super Nintendo and warrio woods. I love the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and I am proud to be a member. I find healing in the gospel everyday-it brings true peace.
          Any time of year I believe curling up to a fireplace or reading a book in a bubble bath is a perfect way to spend an evening. I am a huge BYU cougar fan and I will always love the Utah Jazz despite their current struggling status. I truly believe all of life's problems can be solved with an otter pop and chocolate. I am addicted to the Maverick tornadoes and I still love to color. My idea of cooking includes romen noodles  and waffles. I'm not a typical girl but I made a quilt and surprised everyone. I am in love with card games (Spades especially) and bowling. My version of dressing up is a hoody and jeans and most days make-up is optional.
          I have an older brother who just returned from a mission-we'll call him 'Argentina.' Its is amazing to have him home! I have a younger brother who is a senior at Roy High School and he is the laughter in my life. We'll refer to him as 'The Comedian.' I also have a younger sister who is fourteen and incredibly beautiful and talented-she's 'The Cheerleader'...more to come on these three later. I have incredibly supportive and kind friends-two of whom are my parents: the 'School Teacher' and 'Airplane Man.' These  people are my life....my light, my love, and always my laughter. Home is where my heart will always be.
          I love spending time with my family and I come from a group of the best. Reading and movies are my passion-yet I will always argue that the book is MUCH better than any of the movies. I love every kind of music and treasure my i-pod with my life; although, I don't think I will ever be able to get every song I want or love to fit on it. I love the rain more than anyone you will probably ever meet and I love to play in the snow and leaves. I am proud to be a Utah girl and I love everything that comes with it. I make mistakes but realize that no one is perfect and I have found that learning and growing is the best way to cope.
          I am unique. I am sarcastic one-hundred percent of the time and tease and joke non-stop. BUT...I am actually a pretty sensitive person. I believe that people come in and out of your life for a reason and that if you ask for help God will send his blessings and his angels. I have experienced love, loss, laughter and life. I am me....and I won't apologize for it. I am very blunt and out-spoken. I work hard and play even harder. I am woman-hear me roar.
